The Blue Ridge Morgan Horse Association was organized in January 1988. Our membership area is mainly east Tennessee with some members from as far away as the Nashville area. Over the years, the club has actively supported the Morgan breed in many different ways as the following pages will attest. As a group we have sponsored classes at local horse shows, set up booths at breed fairs, sponsored competitive trail rides, and put on clinics as well as open barns at the farms of different club members. We are not only a riding club, we are a social club; the common thread running between our diverse members is the love for America's first breed-the Morgan.

BRMHA has a very active youth club. Besides participating in the AMHA Horsemanship Program (all members just passed their Bulrush Badge), several horseshows, and hosted an open barn at a Morgan farm. Hi-Point Awards are handed out for many catagories including sportsmanship and most improved. It promises to be an exciting year.
